  • The views and lot orientation were some of the reasons the owner picked the property.
  • The budget provided for a well-appointed home of approximately 2,300 to 2,400 square feet.
  • The exterior conditions dictated that the living, dining, kitchen and master bedroom suite take advantage of the views.
  • Vaulted ceilings in the living areas took full advantage of the view.
  • The topography and property orientation were a strong influence for locating the garage on the west side of the home.
  • The location of a small sewage treatment unit was a part of the design process.
  • The general contractor was a friend of the owner.
  • The design and plans portion of the process included several meetings with the owner and the general contractor to ensure the owner’s desires were met along with staying in budget.
  • The home was designed and built to the owners complete satisfaction on time and on budget.
